Esticom (now Procore Estimating) uses a quote-only custom pricing model based on Annual Construction Volume (ACV). Historically prior to acquisition, it operated on a per-user monthly/annual subscription model.

REST

Free account registration on the Procore Developer Portal provides access to sandbox testing environments. Accessing production data requires an active Procore subscription, OAuth 2.0 app credentials (Client ID and Client Secret), and authorization/installation by a Procore company administrator.

Standard rate limits are 3,600 requests per hour (60-minute rolling window) and a short-term spike limit of 100 requests per 10 seconds (scalable to 7,200 or 14,400 requests per hour upon request). Additionally, API endpoints specific to Procore Estimating (REST v2.0) are primarily focused on company cost catalogs and catalog items.

Export options include downloading Bills of Materials (BOM) and Cost Catalog items as Excel (.xlsx) / CSV files, generating customer proposals as PDF or Microsoft Word (.docx) files, downloading marked-up plan drawings, and direct integrated export of estimates/budgets into Procore Project Financials (Budgets) and Procore Drawings.

Esticom does not maintain a standalone public app marketplace or partner directory. Instead, following its acquisition by Procore Technologies, it is listed as 'Procore Estimating' on Procore's public App Marketplace (marketplace.procore.com), which acts as the integration directory for third-party apps and ecosystem partners.

Esticom does not support general accounting methods (accrual or cash) natively. It is built strictly for pre-construction quantity takeoff, estimating, and proposal creation, not as a general ledger or accounting system of record.

Onboarding typically takes hours to a few days. Because it is a cloud-native application, users report learning the core takeoff and estimating workflows quickly after reviewing online tutorials or participating in vendor training sessions.

At the time of its acquisition by Procore in October 2020, Esticom had more than 1,000 contractor customers and approximately 1,600 users.

Growing / Modern platform. Esticom is recognized as a modern, cloud-native Web application rather than a legacy desktop software system. Designed to replace paper blueprints and legacy spreadsheet/desktop takeoff tools, its market presence and technical integration expanded after being fully incorporated into the Procore construction management platform as Procore Estimating.
