Requires ComputerEase version 24.3 or higher, an active CE Live installation, continuous internet access, and administrator setup in PW MAINT (Configure > API Management). Access tokens/keys are generated per authorized user/company.

API access keys are valid for a maximum of 24 hours and must be rotated using a refresh token via the application key rotation endpoint. Endpoint data resides in an independent API database populated via periodic synchronization (e.g., job totals sync hourly). Not all data endpoints currently support write-back updates to master records.

QTool report exports (CSV, Excel, Text & Tabs, Lotus), module-specific report exports (e.g., Payroll, 941, W-2/W-3, State Unemployment), grid view list exports to CSV, automated scheduled report books delivered via email, and direct database access via ODBC.

Deltek ComputerEase is a standalone construction accounting software and ERP system (encompassing general ledger, job costing, payroll, AP/AR, and subcontract management), rather than an add-on that connects to external general accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or Foundation. It serves as the primary accounting system of record. Field and PM systems connect into Deltek ComputerEase to transfer budgets, job costs, change orders, and invoices. Deltek provides a natively built and maintained integration for Procore as well as Deltek Replicon (for time tracking). Integrations with other field, PM, and procurement tools, such as Autodesk Build, Kojo, hh2, and Field Materials, rely on third-party connectors or integration platforms.

Deltek maintains an official partner directory and marketplace through the Deltek Partner Network ('Find a Partner' directory), which allows users to filter by product, including ComputerEase, to find technology integration partners and marketplace applications. Additionally, ComputerEase integrations are listed on third-party app marketplaces, such as the Procore App Marketplace and Autodesk Construction Cloud Marketplace.

Deltek ComputerEase is supported by Agave, a unified API platform for construction data, which connects on-premise and single-tenant hosted ComputerEase instances to project management tools like Autodesk Build and Procore via API and ODBC access. Merge.dev does not support Deltek ComputerEase (its unified accounting API focuses on horizontal cloud platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Xero).
