Ramp

U.S.-based businesses, including both residential and commercial trade/construction contractors (general contractors, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and specialty trades) ranging from small-and-midsize businesses (requiring incorporated business status and at least $25,000 in cash reserves) to enterprise organizations.

Ramp uses a hybrid freemium, seat-based subscription, and transaction-fee pricing model. Pricing for core tiers is publicly available, while Enterprise pricing is custom quote-only. The Free tier is $0/user/month. Ramp Plus is $15/user/month (or $12/user/month billed annually) plus a platform fee based on team size. Ramp Enterprise is quote-only. Additionally, Ramp charges per-transaction fees for certain Bill Pay payment methods, which can be waived when paying out of a Ramp Checking Account.

Free Tier: $0/user/month for corporate cards, expense management, basic accounting sync, and automated receipt matching. Ramp Plus Tier: $15/user/month ($12/user/month if billed annually) plus an undisclosed platform fee based on company size. Enterprise Tier: Custom quote. Bill Pay Transaction Fees: $0.59 per standard ACH payment, $1.99 per standard check, $10 per same-day ACH, $15 per domestic wire, $20 per international SWIFT wire, $20 per overnight check delivery, and $1 per check attachment page (eligible fees waived when funding from a Ramp Checking Account).

Standard API access and basic accounting integrations (QuickBooks Online, Xero) are included at no extra charge in the Free tier. Deeper ERP/HRIS integrations (NetSuite, Sage Intacct) require Ramp Plus ($15/user/month). Custom API integrations and enterprise platforms (Workday, Oracle Fusion) require the custom-priced Enterprise tier. Ramp does not charge developer platform fees or take revenue share for building integrations via its developer API platform.

Standard onboarding and self-service setup are free ($0) across tiers. Custom implementation, data migration assistance, and dedicated onboarding support are available under custom Enterprise tier plans.

Rate-limited to 200 requests per 10-second rolling window per source IP address (HTTP 429 returned when exceeded); requests timed out after 60 seconds (HTTP 504); access tokens expire after 10 days; pagination is capped between 2 and 100 items per request; endpoint access requires granular OAuth 2.0 scopes; legacy Virtual Card endpoints are read-only (superseded by the Limits API).

Customizable CSV exports from the dashboard for transactions, bill payments, and reimbursements; Universal CSV export with configurable column headers, custom open-text fields, and mandatory field enforcement; direct automated sync with major accounting platforms (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Xero); and automated data connections to BI/data warehouse platforms via API.

Ramp offers no native AI dispatching, job scheduling, AI estimating, or AI CSR/call handling features. It is a corporate spend and AP automation system rather than a field service management (FSM) platform.

Ramp natively connects to 40+ accounting platforms and ERPs, including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Xero, Workday Financial Management, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Zoho Books, Sage 100, Sage 300, Viewpoint Spectrum, Viewpoint Vista, Deltek Vantagepoint, Yardi, Odoo, Blackbaud, Rillet, Finaloop, Aplos, Puzzle, and Digits. For non-natively integrated systems (such as Foundation), integrations rely on third-party sync platforms, open API builds, or CSV file exports.

Ramp hosts a public integrations directory and partner hub called the Ramp App Center, featuring 200+ integrations and 75+ technology partners spanning accounting, HR and payroll, procurement, receipt automation, travel, and productivity software.

Merge.dev supports Ramp through dedicated integrations and MCP servers, allowing third-party tools to fetch GL accounts, vendors, virtual cards, and spend data via a unified interface. In addition, Ramp uses Merge.dev's Unified API internally to power 30+ HRIS and payroll integrations.

Ramp serves over 70,000 total business customers, including more than 5,500 construction companies, general contractors, specialty subcontractors, and developers. The platform processes over $200 billion in annualized purchase volume.
